This week in Ash class we have been performing poetry in English and had a go at writing our own. We are now able to spot figurative language in different poems and next week we will be creating our own including different forms of imagery. John’s favourite poem was ‘Word Party’ – most of the class agreed! Olivia MT liked ‘Months’ and Kyra liked ‘The Night Mail’.
We learned all about Rosh Hashanah this week in RE and enjoyed Forest Schools and Dodgeball too.
In maths we solved 2 step problems and in science we investigated the amount of carbon dioxide in drinks. Another busy week!
