Welcome back everyone we hope you had a restful and chocolate filled Easter break!

The children have come back refreshed and ready to work and we look forward to a busy and productive Summer term.

On Wednesday we visited St Hilda's Church to learn about Christianity and the importance and meaning of some of the artefacts in the church.Reverend Gobbett met us and kindly showed the children around explaining each object and answering any of their questions. When I contacted Reverend Gobbett about taking Holly class to the church he told me he usually did thirty minutes with the children but Holly class kept him busy for an hour and a half asking very thoughtful and interesting questions and never running out of enthusiasm. He commented on how impresssed he was with the questions asked and the general behaviour and attitude of the children!!Well done Holly class!! We have done some lovely writing about what we found out and this will soon be displayed on the Christianity board in th hall.
