The school kitchen offers a hot meal or jacket potato with choice of filling. Meals are healthy, filling and selected with children's preference in mind. All pupils from Reception to Year 2 are eligible for free school meals via the government's universal free school meal programme. Some pupils in Nursery and Years 3 - 6 are eligible for income-assessed free school meals. Please see the eligibility checker on our website or contact the school office for advice.
Lunch Menus for February '22 onwards
Allergies and Intolerances
All pupils eat in the school hall in sittings.
Midday Supervisors assist all children with their meals and help to create a happy atmosphere at each mealtime. We try to ensure that all children eat sufficiently at lunchtime and we will contact you if we have any concerns.
Your child may prefer to bring a packed lunch from home. We ask that packed lunches are healthy, filling and do not contain fizzy drinks, chocolate bars or sweets. We are working hard to give our children the very best start in life. One way we can help to do this is by thinking about the food choices in children's packed lunches. This booklet from the Schools Food Trust sets out a three-week packed lunch plan complete with recipes. It has been designed to provide all the healthy nutrition that growing children need.
This second booklet has more ideas for great and healthy packed lunches which are easy to make.
