Well I'm not sure what happened to the month of June but it appears to be already almost over! Maple Class are so busy and time is just flying by. Our Family Celebration Assembly went very well last week, Mrs Baker said that Maple Class really did make her proud. I'm sure that all the family and friends of the school were impressed with your efforts.

Yesterday, we hosted our annual Summer Fair. Fortunately, the weather was kind to us and we all thoroughly enjoyed a fun packed afternoon up on our school field. There were so many fun things to see and do but we will try and comment on a few of our favourites. All the children were thrilled by visits from the local police and fire services and many of them spent time exploring the police car and fire engine. The water slide and bouncy castle were, as always, very popular and the face painting stall had a constant queue of eager children. We raised a lot of money for school which will be put to good use- a big 'Thank you' to everyone who helped us or supported us by attending the event.

Last week, Mrs Baker made Riley the 'Star of the Week' for trying hard in lessons. I wonder who it will be this week?
