Our first full week back at school after Christmas has been a busy one.

We've been writing recounts about some rather strange dreams - working on extending our vocabulary - and the results are fantastic! We've also created some impressive artwork to go alongside them. They'll be on display in our library so have a look when you visit.

In maths, we've been working on measures - specifically time. There has been a huge amount of problem-solving taking place with some great collaborative working and some of us even tried our hand at some secondary school problems!

Perhaps the most exciting thing to happen this week was the termly treat. Just before Christmas, we were the class who'd collected the most trophies on our 'Stakesby Stars' board which meant we got to pick an activity to celebrate.

We chose a technology afternoon where we were allowed to bring in one electronic item and one board game from home (and wear our pajamas to hang out and play with our friends) We also had pizza and garlic bread. Have a look at the pictures below and see the fun we had.
