We've had a great first week back in our new class! We are ready to get stuck into the exciting challenges of year 4.
This week has been a really busy one as we have started new maths and writing topics as well as computing, history and PE.
On Tuesday we had our first Forest Schools session of the year where we did a treasure hunt in the woods, looking for various objects- luckily it wasn't too muddy for us!
We were super excited to begin our science project on Thursday- focusing on digestion. Now that we know how digestive system works we are going to conduct several practical experiments to really bring it to life!
We watched a really interesting film during circle time this week. Although the characters did not speak, the film told a story of friendship and respect. We liked it so much we watched it three times!
We are putting lots of effort into learning our times tables up to 12 x 12 and throughout the week have done loads of practice through games, iPads and the 'Tables Masters' quiz.
