After a busy first week, we are well and truly settled in Elm class. We're having our swimming lessons on a Tuesday morning at the moment and enjoying them immensely!
We are carrying on with our Viking topic and are basing our guided reading sessions around them so we have extra opportunities to extend our learning.
In maths, we are learning about negative numbers and number sequences, and carrying on with the alien theme in literacy, we are writing a news report about an alien invasion. Our comprehension activities are Space themed to tie in with our research 'Into the Unknown.'
In R.E. we are learning about the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, and his teachings.
Our computing lessons are still seeing us covering topics such as piracy, digital privacy and copyright issues.
We are also going out once a week with Mrs Mason for Forest School activities while the weather is holding out!
