This will be our last post before we break up! We have lots to finish this week, our Alma work in literacy and our work on column multiplication and bus-stop method of division in maths.

We will showcase our Scratch skills in computing for Mrs Gurney and tie up any loose ends in Forest Schools and art with Mrs Mason. We have finished our work on mountains in geography, but we still have our Christmas cards and calendars to make for you all! We're looking forward to the Christmas celebration at St. Hilda's church on Tuesday and our class Christmas party with year 6 on Wednesday after our Christmas dinner!

We aren't going to see Mrs Hugill again until January when she takes over from Mrs Tillson, full-time. We're looking forward to it though, we've had a great settling-in period and we're ready to get started in the New Year.

Sadly, we say our goodbyes to Mrs Tillson. We've had a fantastic start to year 5 and we'll miss our funny, kind, calm and nurturing teacher. We've had a blast Mrs Tillson, good luck in your new job!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, hard-working 2019!
