28th April

It has been a great week in Ash Class. We are ready and raring to go for the new term! This week we introduced our daily grammer programme - 10 in 10. The idea is that we answer 10 grammar questions in 10 minutes. Although as a class we think we are quite good at grammar, we think that this will make us even better! We are also doing 10 in 10 maths questions, mainly arithmetic, to help us improve.

Our curriculum letters went out this week, this details all of our learning for the term. We started our science this week and learnt all about Mrs Gren. Try testing us at home, we are really good at remembering what life processes each letter stands for!

In maths we have been converting units of measurement and in English we have been doing some writing about Sikhism, ready to share our knowledge with the school as we prepare a display board in the hall.

We are now spending a lot of time thinking about and preparing for our upcoming trip to East Barnby. This week we held a Circle Time to share any worries we have ahead of the trip - and to share solutions.

Well done to Hollie for winning the ceritificate this week for all her hard work and for having such a positive attitude!
