This week we have had great fun learning all about Chinese New Year. We heard the story about the animals having a race, and discovered that this year is the Year of the Pig.
We made lots of things in the Rainbow room........ lanterns, dragon puppets and Chinese writing. We even had noodles in the water tray! We had to describe to our friends what they felt like.
In Numeracy we used Numicon to make a picture of a Chinese Dragon and in Literacy we wrote a wish.
Wise Owls visited Marton court and we had a lovely time making Chinese Lanterns with the residents.
A big well done to the WIse Owls who received new Tricky Words this week. you have been working hard!
