This week we had a very special visit from Mrs Wood's Guinea Pigs, Daffodil and Chewy. They came to help us learn about adjectives. We thought of lots of new and exciting words to describe them especially Chewy who is more mischievous than the timid Daffodil! Please ask your child about the adjectives they thought of to describe Daffodil and Chewy. We also got to have lots of cuddles. Thank you Mrs Wood for bringing them.
In science lessons, we are enjoying exploring different materials. This week we got to have a look at a variety of materials and how they all have different purposes. We particularly enjoyed looking at the piece of metal as it had rust on it and we could believe how heavy it was considering it was such a small piece.
In art, we have enjoyed exploring the artist Kandinsky. We have recreated some of his art work and it can be seen on display in our classroom. Please do have a look next time to you visit us.
